Associate General Manager - Commercial (Arena & Convention centre)

Purpose: Adani Airport City is developing Mixed Use Real Estate Airport Cities including Retail, Office, Hotels, Convention Centre and Arena across various cities – Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Guwahati spanning over 22 Mn. Sft in the initial Phases

 

Adani Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead for setting up Convention Center and experiential assets such as Arenas as part of our Airport City-side Developments in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Lucknow. 

The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in Real Estate strategy with a strong background of convention centers/Arenas, cultural centers strategy, planning, research & feasibility. They should be experienced in business modelling and analysis, with domain knowledge of hospitality/convention center/consulting, MICE market, with thorough understanding of convention centre planning, architecture planning and technical requirements. This position will report to the Head of Arena & Convention Centre.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As the Lead - Convention Center, you will be responsible for:

· Developing and executing a comprehensive business model for the Convention Center & Arenas, including convention centre planning, financial projections, market analysis, and risk assessment.

· Leading the overall convention center & Arena product mix planning and guidance for design development including technical specifications.

· Keeping abreast with the global and local trends on new technologies, business formats, evolving industry landscape, etc. and guiding the senior management for strategic decision making.

· Responsible for lead generation and mar-comm initiatives for the convention center/Arena.

· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and sustainable practices within the Convention Center, aligning with Adani's commitment to environmental stewardship.

· Overseeing the development of strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the Convention Center's/ Arena value proposition and market positioning.

· Collaborating with Design team and providing insights on architecture planning and technical requirements of the convention centers.

· Reporting to senior management on key performance metrics, market trends, and opportunities for growth and diversification.

Experience

· 12-15 years of experience in Events or related Real Estate development or planning

Education Qualification

· Graduation in any business or real estate/hospitality field

· MBA in Strategy/finance will be preferred
