Associate General Manager - Cybersecurity

• Evaluate and recommend security solutions and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture. 

• Experience in data networks and supporting product features, services and technologies (e.g., networking protocols at layers 2 and 3, SDN principles, automation in data centers). 

• Excellent understanding of modern technology ecosystems including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architectures, and DevOps practices. 

• Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, GitLab, CNAPP, Encryption, VPN, Networking and infrastructure security pillars. 

• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation and security 

• Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions 

• Collaborates with COE, internal auditing, legal, and IT teams to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and industry requirements (e.g. FERPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.). 

• Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies 

• Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures 

• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. 

• Experience implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g., threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems). 

• Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the security posture of the organization.

Educational qualifications & Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field. 

10-12 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security architecture. 

Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for complex IT environments. 

Strong understanding of security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, ISO 27001, and NIST. 

Experience with security testing tools and automation. 

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus. 

Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
