AutoCAD Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Drafting: Develop detailed technical drawings, 2D/3D models, blueprints, and schematics for products, systems, or structures. 

Collaboration: Work with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, review designs, and provide technical solutions. 

Conceptualization: Visualize concepts and translate them into accurate, manufacturable designs or construction plans. 

Quality & Compliance: Ensure designs meet engineering standards, project specifications, safety regulations, and quality requirements. 

Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation, revise drawings, and manage project versions. 

Support: Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot design issues, and offer training to junior staff. 

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD (2D/3D), potentially other CAD/BIM tools like SolidWorks, Revit, or Civil 3D. 

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles (mechanical, civil, electrical, etc.) relevant to the industry. 

Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong spatial reasoning. 

Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills for team collaboration. 

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop effective technical solutions. 

Education: Diploma or Degree in an engineering field (Mechanical, Civil, etc.) is typically required.
