Job Description:

As a Senior  DevOps engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing build and deployment processes, work closely with development teams to ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines, effective resource management, and software releases. Your expertise in Azure DevOps, .NET build pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and various other DevOps tools will be essential in driving our technical initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and Deployment Management: Oversee build processes, including the setup and management of Azure DevOps pipelines for .NET applications. Ensure smooth CI/CD workflows and effective deployment strategies.
• Python development knowledge
• Linux operating system knowledge
• Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management. Implement and manage infrastructure using code to support scalable and consistent environments.
• Configuration Management: Use Ansible for configuration management and automation of application deployment and environment setup.
• Containerization: Implement and manage Docker containers and container orchestration using Kubernetes to ensure scalable and efficient deployments.
• Azure DevOps Expertise: Configure and manage Azure DevOps build agents, repositories, and resource groups. Implement and optimize build pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Version Control: Manage Git/GitHub repositories, including branching, merging, and version control best practices.
• Infrastructure Management: Handle build infrastructure creation and management, including Hyper-V, virtualization, VMs, storage solutions, and access control.
• Third-Party Tools: Integrate and manage third-party tools such as Artifactory for artifact management. Utilize tools like Blackduck for code scanning and metrics.
• Software Dependencies: Understand and manage software module dependencies, ensuring accurate definition and execution of .NET and Azure application builds.
• Scripting and Automation: Use Windows scripting to automate build processes and manage integrations. Create and maintain scripts for build automation, test integration, and code coverage.
• Test Integration: Integrate automated tests into the build pipelines. Manage code coverage, test metrics, and ensure comprehensive test results.
• Code Signing: Oversee code signing processes to ensure secure and verified code releases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a strong focus on build and deployment processes.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure DevOps, .NET build pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices. Experience with Git/GitHub and third-party tools like Artifactory and Blackduck.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, virtualization, VMs, and storage management.
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Windows scripting and automation for build and deployment tasks.
• Software Integration: Experience with integrating automated tests, code coverage tools, and code signing processes.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Azure, DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, or related technologies are a plus.
• Additional Skills: Experience with other DevOps tools and practices, knowledge of additional programming languages, or cloud platforms.

Nice to have

• Knowledge on Gen AI, Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs
• Hands on coding in Python + Web Services + Frameworks
• Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LangGraph etc
