Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Laravel Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, database design, and API integrations, with proven experience in delivering scalable and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel framework.
• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product teams to deliver seamless solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices & coding standards.
• Work with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) including complex queries, indexing, and optimization.
• Manage application security, performance tuning, and scalability improvements.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and technical support for existing systems.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and practices in Laravel and PHP ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Laravel.
• Strong proficiency in PHP (OOPs concepts, MVC architecture).
• Expertise in MySQL / PostgreSQL, database schema design, and query optimization.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations.
• Familiarity with queues, caching (Redis/Memcached), and job scheduling.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Understanding of server management, deployment, and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Ability to write well-documented, maintainable, and testable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Unit testing / TDD frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest).
• Exposure to front-end frameworks (Vue.js / React.js) for API integration.
