Barista

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coffee, efficient in preparing a wide range of beverages, and capable of maintaining cleanliness and operational standards. The role involves beverage preparation, machine handling, order management, and ensuring a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve high-quality beverages including:
• Hot coffees (Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, Americano, etc.)
• Cold coffees (Iced Latte, Cold Brew, Frappes, etc.)
• Hot Chocolate
• Milkshakes
• Matcha-based drinks
• 
  
• Follow standard recipes, measurements, and presentation guidelines.

Coffee Machine Operations

• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment efficiently.
• Monitor grind size, extraction quality, and milk texturing.
• Perform daily calibration and basic troubleshooting of machines.

Order Handling & Packaging

• Accurately prepare and package dine-in and takeaway orders.
• Ensure timely service while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with team members during peak hours.

Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and service areas.
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
• Clean and maintain coffee machines, tools, and utensils regularly.

Inventory Awareness

• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
• Inform management about shortages or quality issues.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and café beverages.
• Ability to operate and maintain coffee machines.
• Attention to detail and consistency in preparation.
• Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Prior barista experience preferred (but not mandatory if trainable).
