Bidding

Responsibilities

• Bid Management: Oversee the preparation, submission, and follow-up of bids, proposals, and tenders in response to client requests. 
• Market Research: Identify new bidding opportunities through research, networking, and engagement with stakeholders. 
• Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal departments (sales, technical, legal, etc.) to create compelling and competitive bid submissions that meet client requirements and deadlines. 
• Cost Estimation: Work closely with project managers and finance teams to develop accurate cost estimates and ensure pricing strategies align with business goals. 
• Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all required documents and certifications are accurately prepared and submitted according to client specifications and industry regulations. 
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with various internal and external teams to gather the necessary information and approvals for bids. 
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to understand their needs and enhance future bidding opportunities. 
• Performance Analysis: Track and analyze bid performance and success rates to refine and improve future bidding strategies. 
• Negotiation Support: Assist the sales team in negotiating terms and conditions of contracts and agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Procurement, or related field. 
• Proven experience in bid management, proposal writing, or procurement (3-5 years preferred). 
• Strong understanding of the bidding process in [industry, e.g., construction, IT, manufacturing, etc.]. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant bidding software. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with clients effectively
