Business Development Executive

Job Description

Position: Business Development Manager (BDM) / Business Development Executive (BDE)

Department: Business Development

Reporting To: Senior Manager – Business Development

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager in day-to-day business development activities
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and proposals shared by the Senior Manager
• Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, presentations, and client requirements
• Prepare basic reports, MIS, and follow-up trackers as required
• Maintain proper records of client communication and business data
• Attend client meetings along with the Senior Manager and take follow-up actions
• Ensure timely communication and coordination between clients and the company
• Support in achieving team sales and business targets

Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred for BDM)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Basic knowledge of sales and business development processes
• Ability to follow instructions and work under guidance of a senior manager
• Positive attitude, learning mindset, and team-oriented approach
• Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and basic reporting

Experience

• BDE: 0–2 years of experience in sales or business development
• BDM: 2–5 years of experience in business development or related role
