Designation: Business Development Executive / Senior Business Development Executive (IndiaMart Specialist)

Location: Ahmedabad

Job Type: Full-Time


About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven female professional to join our team as a business development executive specializing in IndiaMart. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the India Mart portal, generating leads, and converting them into profitable business opportunities. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:


1. IndiaMart Portal Management:

o  Log in to the IndiaMart portal daily and select appropriate buy leads as per the weekly eligibility plan.

o  Analyze and prioritize leads to ensure maximum conversion potential.


2. Customer Engagement:

o  Approach potential customers in a professional and unique manner to differentiate from competitors.

o  Share all relevant details about the company profile, product range, and proposals to create a strong impression.


3. Meetings and Visits:

o  Arrange and conduct meetings with customers at their premises to discuss requirements and present solutions.

o  Organize customer visits to the company’s plant and experience center to showcase the wide range of products for a "touch and feel" experience.


4. Follow-Ups and Lead Conversion:

o  Maintain regular follow-ups with customers to build trust and convert leads into business.

o  Ensure timely communication and address customer queries to move the sales process forward.


5. Data Management:

o  Maintain a comprehensive database of all leads, including their progress and status.

o  Prepare regular reports on lead conversion rates, sales performance, and India Mart portal activity.


6. Business Growth:

o  Develop strategies to maximize the profitability of the IndiaMart portal.

o  Identify new opportunities and trends on the platform to stay ahead of competitors.

 

 Qualifications and Skills:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

·        Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably with experience in managing India Mart or similar B2B portals.

·        Strong understanding of the India Mart platform and its functionalities.

·        Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

·        Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.


Preferred Attributes:

·        Prior experience in handling IndiaMart or similar B2B platforms.

·        Knowledge of the modular furniture sector will be an added advantage.

·        Number of leads generated and converted into business.

·        Growth in India Mart portal profitability.

·        Customer satisfaction and repeat business.

·        Timely and accurate maintenance of the lead database.
