Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) with 2+
years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new
business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth through multiple
channels including Upwork, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead generation through multiple platforms including Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator,
Freelancer, and cold email campaigns
• Identify and qualify potential clients by understanding their business needs and requirements
• Create compelling proposals and pitches for IT services including web development, mobile app
development, and custom software solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends
• Collaborate with the technical team to prepare accurate project estimates and timelines
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM system
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
• Follow up on leads and convert them into long-term business relationships
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales in IT services industry
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong experience with Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and freelance platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Understanding of IT services including Web Development, Mobile App Development, UI/UX
Design, and Cloud Solutions
• Proficiency in lead generation tools such as Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, or Hunter.io
• Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with international clients (US, UK, Europe, Australia)
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI/ML, Blockchain, and IoT
• Experience with content marketing and LinkedIn thought leadership
• Familiarity with Ahmedabad IT ecosystem and local business networks
• Certification in Digital Marketing or Sales
