Job Description

Key responsibilities for International Sales and Business Development - Manager / Executive


Sales and business development for : International market

  • Identify and research potential new overseas markets, buyers, and distributors.
  • Help develop and implement export strategies to increase market presence and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage international inquiries, prepare quotes, and negotiate contracts and payment terms with international clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Generate sales revenue on monthly basis to achieve the yearly target.
  • Support senior management by preparing sales reports and market analyses. 

 

Export operations and logistics

  • Oversee the entire export process, from order placement to final delivery.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary export documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
  • Resolve any logistical issues, delays, or discrepancies related to international shipments.
  • Ensure the timely collection of payments and manage documentation related to financial instruments like Letters of Credit. 

 

Compliance and financial management

  • Ensure strict compliance with all international trade laws, customs procedures, and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changing regulations and import-export policies (e.g., DGFT procedures) that impact the business.
  • Oversee the process of claiming export incentives and reconciling GST in coordination with the finance team.


Manage financial aspects of transactions, including managing forex risks and transaction payments.
