Job Description

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for generating new business opportunities, meeting potential clients, preparing proposals, and driving revenue growth for the MEPF consulting division.

The role involves promoting MEP, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting design services and building strong, long-term client relationships.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities in the market (builders, architects, contractors, developers, PMC).
  • Conduct market research on competitors, pricing, and upcoming projects.
  • Track government and private tenders related to MEPF projects.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with clients, architects, consultants, and developers.
  • Present and explain the company’s MEPF design services.
  • Maintain strong, long-term business relationships with clients.
  • Follow up on client inquiries and ensure timely closure of deals.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and scope of work for MEPF design services.
  • Study BOQs, technical documents, and tender specifications.
  • Manage tender submissions and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Handle price negotiations and finalize project deals.
  • Share client requirements with the MEPF engineering/design team.
  • Discuss project scope, feasibility, and timelines.
  • Coordinate for drawings, designs, and proposals to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support the technical team in pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • Maintain daily/weekly sales reports.
  • Maintain an organized client database (CRM).
  • Process agreements, LOIs, and work orders.

📌 Required Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of MEPF services (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety).

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented.

Good coordination and project communication abilities.

Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits

📌 Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical is an advantage, not mandatory).

MBA in Marketing is preferred (optional).

6m-01 years of experience in Business Development/Sales in MEPF, Construction, HVAC, EPC, or Engineering Consulting.
