Job Description

Role Summary


The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting fire safety products such as fire extinguishers, fire alarms, hydrant systems, emergency lighting, and related solutions. The role includes both field sales and client management activities.


Key Responsibilities


1. Sales & Lead Generation

  • Identify potential clients in commercial, industrial, and residential segments.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, networking, and digital channels.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for customers.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, contractors, builders, safety officers, and corporate clients.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and negotiations.

3. Product Knowledge

  • Understand all fire safety products: fire extinguishers, suppression systems, fire alarms, hoses, hydrants, safety signage, etc.
  • Explain features, certifications (ISI, UL, CE), and compliance requirements to customers.

4. Tendering & Documentation

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, BOQs, and technical documents.
  • Assist in tender submission and ensure all documents are compliant with fire safety standards.

5. Market Research

  • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and new opportunities.
  • Provide input for new product development and marketing strategies.

6. Revenue Target Achievement

  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and submit regular reports to management.


Required Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical knowledge of fire safety products (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in fire safety or industrial safety products is an advantage.
  • Valid driving license (preferred).


Salary Range

  • Base Salary: As per industry standards
  • Incentives: Performance-based
