Oversee the entire value chain from bauxite mining to aluminium smelting, ensuring efficiency and cost optimization.
Implement automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance productivity and safety.
Improve process efficiencies in Bayer’s process (alumina refining), Hall-Héroult process (smelting), and continuous casting.
Develop and track KPIs to ensure adherence to production targets, quality benchmarks, and cost efficiency.
Lead cross-functional teams to streamline logistics, raw material procurement, and end-product distribution.

Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Management
Ensure compliance with national and international regulations related to mining, refining, emissions, and sustainability.
Work closely with environmental agencies to implement best practices in waste management, carbon footprint reduction, and emission control.
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to safety standards, occupational health norms, and environmental frameworks.
Mitigate legal and operational risks by implementing robust governance and compliance measures.
Prepare detailed reports for regulatory authorities, ensuring transparency and adherence to environmental, safety, and mining permits.

Sustainability and Community Development
Champion green aluminium initiatives by adopting energy-efficient smelting technologies and increasing renewable energy usage.
Implement tailings and red mud management strategies to minimize environmental impact.

Experience:

Minimum of 20 years of experience in the Bauxite Mines industry.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
