🛠 Job Description – Chief General Technician

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Position: Chief General Technician | Full-time | Office Work

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹32,000 CTC per month

Role Overview

The Chief General Technician will be responsible for supervising and validating vehicle inspection processes, ensuring technical accuracy, and maintaining reporting standards. The role involves guiding the technical team, verifying car evaluations, and ensuring compliance with Spinny’s quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and validate the technical inspections carried out by field technicians.

Provide technical guidance on engine, suspension, electrical, and body condition assessments.

Detect discrepancies in inspection reports and ensure accuracy in documentation.

Support evaluators in preparing fair car valuation reports.

Ensure adherence to Spinny’s inspection and reporting standards.

Maintain coordination between technical teams and management.

Training & Induction

Selected candidates will undergo 1-month structured training in Gurugram.

The company will provide travel allowance (tickets), food, and accommodation during training.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Diploma / ITI in Automobile or Mechanical (mandatory).

Experience: 4–6 years of technician/mechanic experience with 10+ years of total experience.

Age Limit: 28–35 years.

Must be able to read and understand basic English.

Exclusion Criteria

Candidates with service advisor background.

Candidates with commercial vehicle specialization.

Candidates from competitor companies (Cars24, OLX, CarDekho, Carwale, etc.).

Plant/manufacturing-only experience.

Applicants outside the defined age bracket.
