Civil Site Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Sola, Ahmedabad

Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Experience Required: 2 – 4 Years

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and supervising construction and infrastructure projects. The role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, site management, and coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects from start to finish

Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents

Ensure proper implementation of designs at the site

Site Supervision

Supervise daily site operations and construction activities

• Monitor workforce productivity and ensure efficient resource utilization
• Ensure smooth coordination between different teams at the site

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and clients

• Conduct regular meetings to track project progress and resolve challenges
• Communicate project updates and issues to management

Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and legal regulations

• Implement and monitor quality control procedures at every stage
• Identify and mitigate risks related to construction activities
• Project Monitoring & ReportingTrack project progress against timelines and budgets
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
• Maintain proper documentation including site records, drawings, and approvals
• Technical & Problem SolvingConduct site inspections and identify technical issues
• Provide practical and cost-effective solutions to on-site challenges
• Review and validate construction methods and materials
• Cost Estimation & Resource ManagementEstimate project costs, materials, and manpower requirements
• Monitor expenses and ensure cost control
• Optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in construction or site supervision
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and safety practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

Experience in residential or commercial construction projects

• Basic knowledge of project management tools and techniques
• Familiarity with estimation and billing processes
• Strong leadership and team-handling skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
