Job Purpose: Associate - Grid Connectivity & Coordination is responsible for overseeing the grid connection process, manages technical documentation, and ensures all approvals are secured. They maintain compliance with regulatory standards and coordinate with various stakeholders for successful task execution.
Grid Integration and Management:
Ensure the integration of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, and hybrid) with the electrical power grid, ensuring technical specifications and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with grid operators, utility companies, and internal technical teams to facilitate seamless connections, optimizing performance and adhering to grid codes and standards.
Monitor and manage the performance of grid-connected systems, tracking key metrics and implementing solutions to maintain grid stability and system reliability.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure comprehensive compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for grid connectivity.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for regulatory approvals, including technical specifications, design reports, and compliance certifications.
Coordination and Project Execution:
Facilitate effective coordination among internal teams, such as electrical engineers, project managers, and compliance specialists, to ensure all aspects of grid connectivity are executed according to project specifications.
Carry-out the execution of high-voltage line projects and the commissioning of renewable energy projects, ensuring all activities are in line with project timelines and standards.
Issue Identification and Resolution:
Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical issues related to grid connectivity.
Analyze system performance data to pinpoint anomalies, implementing targeted engineering solutions to maintain reliable and efficient grid integration.
Safety Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring workplace safety, adherence to SOPs, and compliance with EHS standards at all sites.
Conduct compliance audits and quality assurance reviews, ensuring all grid connectivity activities meet regulatory and safety standards.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement:
Generate and analyze detailed performance reports, including metrics on voltage levels, power factor, and grid stability.
Document and report all connectivity and commissioning activities, maintaining records for future reference and compliance audits.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize grid connectivity processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall project performance.

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field) is required.
Strong knowledge of power systems, grid codes, and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping.
Work Experience:
5-7 years of experience in grid connectivity and compliance activities.
Hands-on experience in preparing grid connection applications, obtaining approvals, and managing documentation.
