Deputy Manager - Endorse
Responsibilities
Lead - SCADA, Communication and Telemetry
First-Level Support:
Provide first-level support to site operational assets of Adani Power Limited (APL) in SCADA-related issues, specifically with systems from GE, Siemens, Nari, and Heil SAS.
Address and resolve operational issues related to SCADA systems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation.
SCADA Systems Communication and Troubleshooting:
Prepare specifications and support communication/troubleshooting of multiple Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) SCADA systems, including analog/digital Power Line Carrier Communication (PLCC) and Fiber Optic Terminal Equipment (FOTE)/Digital Tele Protection Coupler (DTPC) based teleprotection systems.
Collaborate closely with OEMs to ensure the seamless integration and operation of SCADA systems.
OT Protocols and Site Commissioning:
Study and understand OT protocols like IEC 61850, and ensure OEMs adhere to these protocols during site commissioning and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support during site commissioning and address any issues related to OT protocols.
Configuration, Testing, and Troubleshooting:
Support the configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Windows gateways and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) for Load Dispatch Center (LDC) data communication with systems from Hitachi, GE, and Siemens.
Supervise OEMs, conduct validation, and testing to ensure accurate data transmission to external parties.
Ensure the availability of real-time data reporting for all thermal sites and handle related troubleshooting.
Visit thermal sites to provide on-site support during operational issues and audits.
New OT Technologies:
Study and understand new OT technologies like Process Bus, IEC 61850-9-2LE, and other relevant IEC and IEEE standards.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in OT technologies to support system integration and troubleshooting.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
Conduct technical due diligence for SCADA and communication-related aspects in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) activities.
Review equipment designs, site operations, and provide red flags and cost implications.
Assess ongoing disputes, equipment issues, and contracting terms.
Provide comprehensive due dilliegence report and cost estimates to the Business Development (BD) team.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc (Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation and Controls)
Work Experience (Range of years):
Freshers permitted, experience with any OEM's OT systems is preffered.
Preferred Industry:
Background in Thermal Power sector with a strong focus on SCADA, communication systems, and telemetry
