Deputy Manager-ESG

Responsibilities

ESG Reporting & Compliance

• Lead and coordinate the preparation of the  Business Responsibility & Sustainability Report (BRSR) and sustainability report.
• Collect, validate, and analyse ESG performance data from all airports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
• Support adherence to globally recognized ESG frameworks and standards (GRI, SEBI BRSR, SDGs, ISO standards, etc.).
• Calculation and monitoring of GHG emission (Scope 1, 2,3 ) of Airports and other associates Business
• Preparation and Submission of ESG Disclosure as per Various ESG Ratings submission like DJSI, Sustainalytics, Moody’s, CRISIL, Eco Vadis etc

ESG Performance & Project Management

• Provide technical support or lead ESG projects on like Energy efficiency & conservation initiatives, Renewable energy adoption, Water neutrality and water management programs, Solid waste & plastic waste reduction initiatives.
• Track implementation progress and document outcomes for sustainability reporting.
• Conduct Data analysis and peer benchmarking on ESG Performance and industry trends

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with ESG teams at each airport for alignment on group level policy and strategies on ESG Disclosure, Airport Carbon Accreditation requirements, Environmental Compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Safety, HR, Engineering, CSR, Quality, Procurement) and external stakeholders to implement sustainability related strategies and disclosures. 
• Support ESG assessments, internal or external audits, and due‑diligence requirements as needed.

Awareness, Capacity Building & Engagement

• Drive sustainability awareness campaigns across airports.
• Conduct or support training programs on ESG processes, reporting, and sustainability practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in ESG/Sustainability or any relevant stream
  OR
• MBA in Environment Management / Sustainability or equivalent.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks—GRI Standards, BRSR, SDGs.
• Proficiency in data analytics, documentation, and drafting ESG reports.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in fast-paced environments.
• Technical knowledge or certifications in Data Management tools like Power BI, ESG Reporting framework will be beneficial (but not mandatory)
• Candidate from Aviation sector (Airport Operation/Airlines) most preferred

Experience Required

• 3-5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, environmental management, or related domains.

Experience in ESG reporting, data management, and environmental initiatives will be an added advantage.
