Deputy Manager - Planning

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive production plans for wind turbine manufacturing, ensuring alignment with project timelines and resource availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess production capacity, identify constraints, and implement strategies to optimize scheduling and resource utilization
• Utilize advanced planning tools and software to analyze data, forecast production requirements, and facilitate informed decision-making
• Monitor and track production progress, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and delays
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for manufacturing activities
• Conduct regular reviews of production schedules, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
• Provide regular reports and updates on production planning, highlighting key performance indicators and adherence to project timelines
• Adhere to industry best practices and quality standards while maintaining a focus on safety and sustainability in all planning activities
• Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance overall operational efficiency
• Act as a key liaison between manufacturing, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)
