Education

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• M.Tech in Structural Engineering

Experience

• 7–9 years in design and detailing of civil and structural works in: 
  • Solar Power Plant Projects
  • Wind Farms
  • Construction Industry
  • Oil & Gas

Objective

The Design Engineer will handle complete design and detailed engineering for Solar Power Plants (Mini Grid, Megawatt scale, and rooftop plants). Responsibilities include reviewing design documents and drawings, coordinating with other disciplines (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical), and managing engineering activities within budget, on time, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate work to draftsmen
• Design and analyze structures and foundations for control rooms/inverter rooms
• Analyze, design, and detail module mounting structures and components
• Design and detail roads, drains, boundary fences, and gates
• Design and detail equipment foundations (transformers, HT panels, LA)
• Submit design documents and drawings for client approval
• Ensure compliance with Indian and international design standards
• Coordinate with site teams and clients for design requirements
• Check BOQ and materials against previous projects
• Prepare DBR scope of work for project engineering
• Interact with clients for drawing approvals and clarifications
• Liaise with site and SCM for clarifications and vendor queries
• Conduct site visits as required

Technical Expertise

• Civil & Structural engineering for: 
  • Solar MMS structures
  • Foundations (solar, wind turbine, RCC control rooms, transformers, outdoor equipment, inverter rooms)
  • Grading, roads, drainage, outdoor steel structures
• Review vendor engineering documents for civil & structural design

Operating Network

• Internal: Engineering Heads, Cluster Heads (SCM, QC, PEMs), Proposal Team, Safety, Section Heads
• External: Clients/Consultants, Vendors
