Job Description: Driver (Electric 3-Wheeler Tempo for Goods Transport)

Position: Driver - Goods Transport

Job Location: Lijjat Khaman, Maninagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Vehicle: Electric 3-Wheeler Tempo (provided by the company)

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive the electric 3-wheeler tempo to transport goods (primarily food items like khaman, dhokla, sev khamani, patra, and other packaged snacks) within Ahmedabad city limits or nearby areas.
• Load and unload goods carefully to ensure no damage to perishable items.
• Pick up supplies/raw materials if required and deliver finished products to customers, retailers, or distribution points.
• Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic rules and road safety norms.
• Maintain the vehicle in clean and good condition, including daily charging of the electric battery and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Assist in basic inventory checks during loading/unloading.
• Ensure timely deliveries to maintain product freshness.
• Keep accurate records of trips, deliveries, and any incidents.

Working Hours:

• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12 hours shift)
• Includes 1-hour lunch/break (flexible timing during the day)
• 6 days a week (1 weekly off, typically on a weekday or as per mutual agreement)

Salary:

• ₹16,000 to ₹25,000 per month (based on experience, driving skills, and performance)
• Additional incentives possible for timely deliveries or extra trips

Requirements:

• Valid driving license (LMV or HMV with badge for commercial vehicle preferred; experience with 3-wheeler/electric vehicles is a plus)
• Minimum 1-5 years of driving experience, preferably in goods transport, delivery, or tempo driving
• Good knowledge of Ahmedabad city routes, especially Maninagar, Kankaria, and surrounding areas
• Familiarity with electric vehicles (training provided if needed)
• Physically fit for loading/unloading goods
• Responsible, punctual, and honest with a clean driving record
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety
• Preference for local candidates from Maninagar or nearby areas
