ELECTRICAL PANEL DESIGNER AND ESTIMATOR

Job Title: Electrical Estimation & Design EngineerDepartment: Engineering / Sales SupportExperience Required: 3–6 years (Control Panel Industry Preferred)Job Summary:The candidate will be responsible for both cost estimation and electrical design of control panels, ensuring accurate pricing and efficient design as per client requirements.

• Key Responsibilities:🔹 Estimation:Review RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications
• Prepare cost estimates for LT panels, MCC, PCC, PLC, APFC panels
• Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs
• Take quotations from vendors (switchgear, PLC, VFD, etc.)
• Prepare techno-commercial offers and tender documents
• 🔹 Design:Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings
• Create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Develop BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Select components based on load and application
• Ensure compliance with IEC / IS standards
• 🔹 Coordination:Work with production team for execution
• Coordinate with clients for design approval
• Update costing based on design changes
• Required Skills:Strong knowledge of electrical components (MCB, MCCB, ACB, PLC, VFD)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent
• Ability to read and prepare SLDs and control schematics
• Good costing and negotiation skills
• Strong MS Excel knowledge
• Preferred Knowledge:PLC systems from Siemens, Schneider Electric, or ABB
• Experience with ERP software
• Understanding of panel manufacturing process
• Qualification:Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
• Salary Range (Ahmedabad Market):₹20,000 – ₹60,000/month (depends on experience & skills)
