Electrician

Position SummaryVardhman Industries is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in our manufacturing and recycling plant operations. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC basics, and safety standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Installation & MaintenanceInstall, maintain, and repair plant electrical systems, motors, control panels, and wiring.
• Diagnose electrical faults in machines, switchboards, and production equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as breakers, relays, sensors, contactors, and switches.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and increase machine uptime.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety and operational standards.
• Equipment & Machinery HandlingTroubleshoot and maintain industrial machinery such as conveyors, shredders, compressors, mixers, pumps, and other plant-specific equipment.
• Assist with installation of new machines and support commissioning activities.
• Work with PLC systems (basic knowledge sufficient) for fault identification.
• Check and ensure the proper functioning of motors (AC/DC), drives (VFD), and electrical panels.
• Panel Wiring & AssemblyAssemble and wire electrical control panels according to wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
• Install components such as breakers, relays, contactors, timers, PLC modules, VFDs, meters, and terminal blocks.
• Route and terminate wires neatly using ferrules, markers, and lugs.
• Ensure proper labeling and cable management inside control panels.
