Event Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• On-Site Execution: Lead event setup, management, and teardown, ensuring all activities adhere to the schedule and safety regulations.
• Staff Supervision: Train, mentor, and motivate event support staff (e.g., ticket clerks, coordinators) and conduct pre-event briefings.
• Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary contact for vendors, including caterers, decorators, and AV technicians, overseeing contract compliance.
• Client Communication: Coordinate event details directly with clients and act as the on-site point of contact to manage expectations.
• Logistics & Troubleshooting: Manage logistical challenges and make real-time decisions to resolve problems during the event.
• Post-Event Reporting: Conduct post-event debriefs, manage client feedback, and complete post-event reports. 

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or staff supervision.
• Leadership: Strong ability to supervise, coach, and manage a team under pressure.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for liaising with clients and vendors.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle on-site crises and think on your feet.
• Organization: Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
