Job Description
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Measure, cut, and assemble metal components using hand tools and power tools.
- Align and fit parts to ensure proper assembly and structural integrity.
- Perform tack welding or assist welders during fabrication (if required).
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drills, and cutting machines.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Required Skills & QualificationsITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fabrication, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a fitter or in metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and materials.
- Basic welding knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
