Fiber Installation Technician

PD Engineer is a role with the purpose to support the circle operations to close the faults in time.

They have to coordinate with SMEs, FMEs, Leads and Heads of respective domain to close the

fault in allotted time.

Responsibilities

 OMCR Live outage monitoring 24x7

 >2hrs outage discussion with CEM

 >4Hrs outage Project revival reducing.

 Master SDB updating.

 CR Raise for TXN, RAN and Circle

 TT raised for OSS, RAN and Circle False alarm rectification.

 Media outage tracking

 Docket raise for Media Outage

 >24hrs MS1 & MS2 sites tracking.

 LR implementation and removal by CR.

 Attending CAB meeting for CR approval

 Night activity monitoring all type

 Nation (BCP) format making during war room.

 Alarm and MO upload on BSC and EnodeB

 ID and OD details validation

 Zero cell report validation

 Not reporting sites tracking

Requirements -

 Understanding of Operation processes & Quality standards

 Understanding of 2G, 4G, 5G systems

 Confident, and Self-Motivated

 Ability to communicate with employees at all levels in the organization.

 Knowledge of various field tools

 Soft Skill & Behavioural Competency: Effective communication, Persuading &

Influencing, Collaborative

 Interface with Field team, SMEs.

 Track the KPI’s and SLA deliverables.

Skills, knowledge and experience to be successful in position:

 Working knowledge in 2G/4G/5G Technology.

 Hands on experience in Operation KPIs – RAN, TX, Backhaul, Hygiene.

 Experience in Collaborating & engaging with OEM, MS & Infra partners.

 Multi-OEM based knowledge.
