Field Sales Executive: Roles & Responsibilities

The Field Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth within a designated territory by directly engaging with customers, building a robust pipeline, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires a proactive, mobile professional with excellent selling and negotiation skills.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Execution & Revenue Generation:


Actively sell the company's products and services to both new and existing customers within an assigned geographic area.


Develop and execute effective sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed established sales targets and quotas.


Prospecting & Business Development:


Identify, qualify, and generate new sales leads through various methods, including cold calling, market research, and networking.


Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure continuous business growth.


Client Relationship Management:


Build and nurture long-term, trusting relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.


Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to address concerns, provide support, and identify new sales opportunities.


Product Expertise & Customer Engagement:


Serve as a product expert, clearly articulating product features, advantages, and benefits to potential customers.


Professionally handle all customer queries and objections, providing accurate information and effective solutions.


Negotiation & Deal Closure:


Negotiate prices, terms, and commercial agreements within company guidelines to close sales and secure profitable deals.


Sales Administration & Reporting:


Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.


Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the sales manager.


Market Intelligence:


Conduct ongoing market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new market opportunities.


Essential Requirement:


Mobility & Driving: Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to drive both a two-wheeler and a four-wheeler for daily travel within the sales territory.
