Financial Planning & Analysis

Responsibilities

  • Business Performance Reporting: Prepare and present monthly and quarterly MIS reports and implementing business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • a) Playing a key role in annual budgeting and forecasting exercise of coal mines.
  • b) Working with Stakeholders on budget planning    
  • Trend Analysis: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial metrics and identifying the cause of any unexpected variances
  • Financial Modeling: Developing financial modeling/ DPR of mine and analyzing and support the strategic decision making
  • Data-Driven Analysis: Supporting the management team with data-driven analytics, variance analysis and suggesting efficiency improvements
  • Strategic Planning: Working with business team to build long range business plan/strap 
  • Bid Costing and Pricing Strategy: 
  • a) Support Bid Management activities by reviewing inputs on CAPEX and OPEX.
  • b) Develop pricing strategy for bids and tenders.
  • c) Review capital financing models and commercial models for bids.
  • e) Review and develop customer profitability analysis

 

Qualifications

 Essential:  CA with
a) Overall 8+ years of professional experience
b) 5+ years’ experience in finance and accounts in a large organization (Manufacturing or Mining Industry 
c) 5+ years’ experience in a MIS and Planning and Budgeting role
d) Hands on Experience of SAP ERP and very good in MS Office like  Excel and PPT
