Job Title: Business Development Executive – Premium Retail (General Trade + Modern Trade)

Location: Ahmedabad | Travel: Daily market visits

Type: Field Sales

Role SummaryWe’re hiring a high-energy Business Development Executive to onboard and grow premium retail points for our premium cookies. This is a sell-to-store role (not in-store counter sales). You will open new outlets, build relationships with owners/managers, drive secondary sales, ensure visibility, and manage repeat ordering across premium kirana, gourmet stores, modern trade, and select cafes.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesOutlet onboarding: Identify and open premium GT counters + modern stores; achieve weekly/monthly addition targets
  • Primary sales: Pitch, negotiate, and close orders with store owners/buyers; handle listings and commercial terms
  • Shelf visibility & merchandising: Ensure right placement, planograms (where applicable), standees/dispensers, and stock discipline
  • Secondary sales push: Work with retailers to move inventory via sampling, combo offers, and local activations
  • Order & replenishment: Maintain reorder cycles, stock checks, expiry control, and returns/claims coordination
  • Market intelligence: Track competitor pricing, promotions, and shelf activity; send weekly reports
  • Relationship management: Build long-term trust with premium retailers and chain store managers
  • Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience: 1–4 years in premium FMCG / packaged foods / chocolates / bakery / snacks field sales
  • Strong network in premium GT + modern trade (store owners, supermarket managers, distributors)
  • Confident in pitching premium products and handling objections on pricing
  • Comfortable with targets, daily travel, and disciplined reporting
  • Basic smartphone skills for CRM/WhatsApp ordering and daily updates
  • Performance Metrics (KPIs)New outlets onboarded/month
  • Monthly primary sales (₹) + repeat order rate
