Head Design Engineering - Ropeways

• Lead the design and engineering processes for ropeway structures, ensuring adherence to quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop detailed designs and structural plans for ropeway projects, incorporating innovative and sustainable engineering practices.
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of design outputs.
• Optimize design methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce project costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new and ongoing projects.
• Oversee the integration of advanced digital tools and technologies into the design process.
• Ensure alignment of design outputs with the strategic objectives of the Ropeways Business.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the design engineering team.
• Prepare and present detailed engineering reports to the Business Head and other stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the design engineering function.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 12 to 18 years of experience in detail designing, structure designing, and project coordination within the infrastructure sector.
• Proven expertise in cost-effective and quality design methodologies.

 

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (mandatory).
• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related specialization (preferred).
