Head of MEP Procurement and Category Strategy

Head - MEP - GCP

• Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute category-specific procurement strategies that align with the overall procurement goals and objectives of the group and business units
• Market Analysis and Benchmarking: Conduct thorough market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in each category. Use this data to inform procurement decisions
• Tendering & Contract Management: Lead the tendering process, including the preparation of RFPs/RFQs, evaluation of bids, and negotiation of contracts. Ensure that contracts are managed effectively throughout their lifecycle
• Cost Management and Savings Initiatives: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within each category. Track and report on savings achieved through strategic sourcing and efficient procurement practices
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure that procurement strategies support the overall business objectives and project requirements

Education Qualification

• BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 18-23 years of experience in the infrastructure industry with expertise in MEP.
