Responsibilities

Purpose:

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Project Management for Mega Real Estate Projects with over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate Development industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading project management roles in large PM/Construction companies. The candidate should possess expertise in MS Projects and Primavera software, along with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering and Project Management. Key behavioural skills include exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

• The Head PMG will play pivotal role in setting up the Project Management Group(PMG) and provide strategic leadership governance and oversight to the project management function with the CSD
• The Head PMG will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality and safety standards
• This position Head-PMG would oversee large project of Adani Airport City Side Development consisting of typically mixed-use development ranging from 3 to 5 Mn sft. (Hotels, Convention Centers, Commercial offices, Retail & Entertainment)
• Establish a project management team focusing on PMO deliverables, internal initiatives and multiple Projects.

Experience:

• Over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate Development industry
• Demonstrated track record in leading project management roles in large PM/Construction companies
• Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project) and in MS Office and project management tools 

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Head of Project Management will be responsible for:

• Leading and overseeing mega real estate projects from conception to completion
• Developing and implementing project management strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
• Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
• Develop and implement robust project portfolio management processes, including project prioritization, and evaluation aligning organizational goals
• Collaborate with Central Project Assurance Group (CPAG) to ensure alignment with project objectives and outcomes
• Providing leadership and guidance to project management teams
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and clients
• Provide strategic oversight of project budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational financial objectives and targets.
• Implementing best practices in project management to optimize efficiency and quality
• Establishment & Standardization of System Processes & Reports, audits & checks – Across CSD BU on all projects for Progress, Quality, Safety & Budgetary
• Develop key performance indicators for progress monitoring & controls
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Reporting project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management
• Establish and maintain rigorous EHS processes and performance metrics to ensure the delivery of Safe and Environ friendly best practices as per general regulations and best practices.
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of project management professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and accountability

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Heading Project management role in large PM/Construction companies with large projects of 5 Mn. Sft plus in previous organizations 
• Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project) and in MS Office and project management tools 
• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Project Management

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

• B. Tech / M. Tech / Architect from a reputed Institutes along with executive Programs in Project management/ Building re-engineering from top institutes like ISB, School of Planning and Architecture (SPA)
• Certifications from PMI

Certification required:

• Project Management certification is a plus

Technical Skills:
