Horticulture Support

Responsibilities

1. Plant Cultivation and Maintenance:

• Select appropriate plant species based on environmental factors, soil conditions, and aesthetic considerations.
• Prepare soil and planting beds for optimal plant growth.
• Plant, transplant, and propagate a variety of plants.
• Prune, trim, and shape plants to maintain desired appearance.
• Monitor and manage irrigation, fertilization, and pest control programs.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address plant diseases, insect infestations, and other plant health issues.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote plant health and growth.

2.             Landscape Design and Installation:

• Assist in the design and layout of landscapes and gardens.
• Select appropriate plants, trees, and shrubs for specific locations.
• Install and maintain landscape elements such as turf, flowers, trees, and hardscape features.
• Coordinate with contractors and other professionals for landscape construction projects.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Botany, Plant Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience.
