Job Description

Job Title: Senior Plant HR Head

Industry: Manufacturing (Boiler / Heavy Engineering / Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: Naroda GIDC, Ahmedabad

CTC: ₹10 LPA

Department: Plant Head / Management

Job Summary

The role requires strong expertise in plant HR, industrial relations, statutory compliance, and labor management within a core manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, manpower planning, and workforce management.
  • Handle industrial relations (IR), union/labor issues, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements: PF, ESIC, Factory Act, CLRA, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment, etc.
  • Oversee contract labor management, attendance, shift planning, and payroll coordination.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support internal/external audits, inspections, and maintain statutory records.
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to plant leadership and management.

Experience Required

  • 10 to 15 years of total HR experience
  • Minimum 5+ years in Plant HR / HR Head / Senior HR role in a manufacturing environment
  • Mandatory exposure to core manufacturing industries

Education

  • MBA in Human Resources (Preferred)
  • Engineering graduates with strong plant HR exposure may also apply
