Job Description
Job SummaryThe HR Manager will be responsible for managing the overall HR operations in the automobile organization, including recruitment, employee relations, training & development, performance management, compliance, and HR strategy. The role requires strong experience in manufacturing or automobile environments, managing blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant, technical, and corporate roles.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower requirements.
- Develop hiring strategies for engineers, technicians, and production staff.
- Manage recruitment agencies and job portals.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Maintain healthy employee relations across plant and corporate teams.
- Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
3. HR Operations
- Manage payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction programs.
4. Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in goal setting and performance improvement plans.
- Align employee objectives with company goals.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs for technical and managerial staff.
- Organize leadership, technical, and compliance training programs.
- Support career development and succession planning.
6. Compliance & Labor Laws
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Handle factory compliance related to PF, ESIC, gratuity, and labor regulations.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams.
7. HR Strategy
- Develop HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives.
- Support organizational development and workforce planning.
- Provide HR insights to management for decision-making.
- Required QualificationsMBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 8–12 years of HR experience, preferably in automobile or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
- Experience handling plant workforce is preferred.
