We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Import/Export Assistant to support our logistics and international trade operations. The successful candidate will help manage the documentation, compliance, and communication related to the import and export of goods. This role is vital for ensuring timely shipments and adherence to international trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process import/export documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin).
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, international trade laws, and company policies.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping companies, and other logistics partners.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, customs declarations, and shipping documents.
• Track inventory and manage shipping schedules and timelines.
• Communicate with internal departments (e.g., sales, purchasing, warehouse) to coordinate order fulfillment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in import/export operations or international logistics..
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

Office-based with occasional visits to warehouse or shipping/receiving areas. Some overtime may be required to meet shipment deadlines or resolve customs issues.
