Reports to: Principal Architect & Interior Designer.

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary with a strong understanding of design trends, materials, and spatial planning. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead and manage a variety of design projects, from concept to completion, working closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to deliver exceptional, innovative interior designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design development of multiple interior design projects, from concept to installation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, vision, and requirements to deliver designs that meet their objectives.
• Prepare mood boards, color schemes, layouts, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Develop and manage design presentations, including sketches, plans, and material selections.
• Oversee the selection of furniture, finishes, fixtures, and other design elements.
• Ensure that design solutions are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with project budgets and timelines.
• Manage and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support on design decisions and project execution.
• Work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction and installation process.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and industry best practices.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the design process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design styles and completed projects.
• Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and other industry-standard tools.
• Exceptional spatial awareness and understanding of architectural plans and drawings.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in both residential and commercial interior design projects.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp)
• Leadership and team management experience.
