IOS Developer (UK Shift)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled IOS Developer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing IOS Applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Swift and/or Objective-C experience with Apple’s IOS frameworks and a passion for building high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain IOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers and product teams
• Ensure application performance, quality and responsiveness
• Identify and fix bugs, performance issues and crashes
• Integrate APIs and third-party libraries
• Follow Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Write clean, scalable and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Support app deployment and App Store submissions
• Maintain app compatibility across multiple IOS versions and devices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in IOS application development
• Strong proficiency in Swift (Objective-C is a plus)
• Experience with Xcode, UIKit, SwiftUI
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of MVC / MVVM architecture
• Experience with debugging and performance optimization
• Knowledge of Apple App Store review guidelines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SwiftUI
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools for IOS
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications and analytics
• Understanding of mobile security best practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
