IT Support Engineer

About the Role

Cue Tech Systems is a premier IT consulting and Managed Services provider. We are looking for an independent and proactive Network & IT Infrastructure Engineer to be deployed full-time at one of our premium client locations—a 350+ seat Managed Coworking Space in Ahmedabad. 

Unlike traditional IT helpdesk roles, you will not be fixing individual user laptops or software. Instead, you will be the "Captain of the Ship" for the facility's core IT infrastructure. Your primary mission is to ensure 99.9% network uptime, seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, and smooth operation of all shared IT facilities for the enterprise companies operating out of the space. You will work independently on-site but will have the full technical backing of Cue Tech Systems’ senior backend team for complex escalations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

* Network & Wi-Fi Management: Proactively monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the facility’s extensive Wireless Access Point (WAP) network, Core Switches, and LAN environment to ensure zero dead zones and high-speed connectivity.

* Security & Firewall: Perform basic monitoring, management, and troubleshooting of the on-site SonicWall Firewall. Escalate complex routing or security issues to the backend L2/L3 team.

* Facility IT Operations: Manage and maintain shared network peripherals including IPBX telephone systems, Biometric access control devices, and shared network printers.

* Internal Support: Provide IT support for the 5-10 internal workstations belonging to the coworking space management team.

* Vendor & ISP Management: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and third-party hardware vendors. Manage internet outages aggressively until resolution.

* Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all common IT assets, coordinate hardware repairs, and assist in procurement planning.

🛠️ What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

* Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in IT Infrastructure Management, Network Support, or Facility Management Services (FMS).

* Networking Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks (Access Points, Controllers), LAN, VLANs, and Core Switches.

* Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with SonicWall Firewalls (or similar like FortiGate/Sophos), IPBX systems, and Biometric devices.

* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills. You will be interacting with facility managers, ISPs, and enterprise tenants, so professional etiquette is a must.

* Problem Solver: Ability to work independently on-site, think on your feet during network down-time, and know exactly when to escalate to our backend team.

* Education: Any Graduate / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent. 

* Certifications: CCNA, Network+, or equivalent network/firewall certifications will be a massive advantage.
