Job Description:

The Jewelry Maker will design and create custom and ready-made jewelry pieces, ensuring they meet both the creative vision and technical standards. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work with various tools and techniques in the jewelry-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Creation: Develop original jewelry designs or interpret customer requests. This involves sketching, rendering designs, and considering practical aspects such as materials and production methods.
• Crafting Jewelry: Use a variety of techniques (casting, soldering, stone setting, metalworking, etc.) to fabricate jewelry items.
• Material Handling: Select appropriate metals, gemstones, and other materials based on the design, ensuring the correct choice of materials for durability and aesthetic value.
• Finishing: Polish, buff, and apply finishing touches to each piece of jewelry to ensure high-quality appearance and wearability.
• Customization: Create custom jewelry pieces based on client specifications, including resizing, remaking, or repurposing existing jewelry.
• Repairs: Repair and restore damaged jewelry, ensuring it meets both functional and aesthetic standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect jewelry to ensure it meets high standards of quality, including accuracy in design, material use, and finishing details.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Collaboration: Work with other jewelry makers, designers, and sales teams to ensure the smooth operation of the jewelry production process.
