Job Description
- Financial Accounting & ReportingPrepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- General Ledger ManagementPost journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Review and correct discrepancies in financial records.
- Accounts Payable & ReceivableProcess vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Track customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Maintain accurate aging reports.
- Tax & CompliancePrepare and file GST/VAT, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Budgeting & AnalysisAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Analyze financial performance and provide variance reports.
- Suggest cost-saving initiatives and improvements.
- Qualifications & SkillsEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications like CPA/CA/CMA (optional but a plus).
- Experience1–5+ years of accounting experience (depending on level).
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, etc.).
- Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
- Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Soft SkillsAttention to detail and high accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
