Job Summary

As a junior Product design & development Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and design of mechanical products under the guidance of senior engineers. Your primary role will be to assist in creating innovative and functional designs that meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

1.      Collaborate with senior engineers to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative products, ensuring they meet customer requirements and market needs.

2.      Sound knowledge of CAD design and drafting techniques, engineering drawing, reading of drawings.

3.      Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of product components and assemblies.

4.      Conduct research and analysis to support product development decisions, including feasibility studies, competitive benchmark, and technology assessments.

5.      Prototyping and testing Support the construction and testing of prototypes to evaluate design functionality, performance, and maneuverability.

6.      Good understand of Plastic Material Properties, Material Selection, Manufacturing Processes, Design for Plastic Manufacturing & Mold Design.

7.      Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Hardware & manufacturing to ensure smooth product development and successful product launches.

8.      Assist in the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including drawings, specifications, and user manuals.

9.      Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in product design and development.

10.   Support the continuous improvement of existing products through design enhancements and cost reduction initiatives.

Qualification and Experience

1.     Diploma/Engineering/Post Graduation in Mechanical

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Relevant coursework in product design, CAD modeling, and engineering principles is required.
2. Technical skills: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks or NX & AutoCad.
3. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, present ideas, and prepare technical documentation.
4. Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in creating engineering drawings and specifications.
5. Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
