Junior Accountant

Job Description

1️. Sales Billing:

•                 Prepare and issue sales invoices

•                 Ensure correct GST calculation (CGST, SGST, IGST)

•                 Verify sales orders and delivery challans before billing

•                 Maintain proper invoice records  Coordinate with the sales and dispatch team

2️. E-Way Bill Management:

•                 Generate E-Way Bills on the GST portal

•                 Enter accurate invoice and transporter details

•                 Modify or cancel E-Way Bills when required

•                 Maintain E-Way Bill register for records

3️. Customer Ledger Accounting:

•                 Maintain and update customer ledger accounts

•                 Record receipts and adjust outstanding balances

•                 Perform ledger reconciliation

•                 Follow up on pending payments (if required)

•                 Prepare debtor outstanding reports

4️. GST Support:

•                 Assist in preparing sales data for GSTR-1

•                 Ensure proper tax classification of invoices

•                 Maintain GST-related documentation

5️. Other Accounting Tasks:

•                 Bank receipt entry and reconciliation

•                 Assist in month-end closing

•                 Maintain proper accounting files and documentation
