Job Title: Residential and C&I Solar Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience Required: Fresher to 6 Months Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Residential & C&I Solar Engineer who will be responsible for end-to-end involvement in rooftop solar projects. The role includes site survey, client coordination, vendor/site management, basic DISCOM liaisoning, minor troubleshooting, and attending service calls.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Survey & Feasibility

• Conduct site surveys for residential and C&I solar projects

• Assess rooftop condition, shadow analysis, and installation feasibility

• Take measurements and support basic system sizing

2. Client Coordination

• Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements

• Explain basic system details and project process

• Provide regular updates and handle basic queries

3. Vendor & Site Coordination

• Coordinate with installation vendors and site teams

• Ensure proper execution as per plan

• Monitor work progress and report status

4. DISCOM Liaisoning (Basic)

• Support in net metering process and documentation

• Follow up with DISCOM for approvals (basic level)

• Assist in submission and tracking of applications

5. Basic Technical Work & Repairs

• Basic understanding of solar components (modules, inverter, structure, etc.)

• Identify minor issues and perform basic repair/troubleshooting

• Assist in installation and commissioning if required

6. Service & Maintenance

• Attend service calls at customer sites

• Identify issues and take necessary corrective actions

• Maintain service reports and follow-ups

7. End-to-End Project Involvement

• Involved from site survey to commissioning and handover

• Ensure Smooth Site Execution

• Coordinate with internal teams for completion

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of solar PV systems

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Willingness to learn and work on-site

• Basic electrical understanding

• Problem-solving attitude

Educational Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma – Electrical, Civil, Mechanical 

Additional Requirements:

• Ready for field work and travel

• Two-wheeler & driving license preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Fresher or up to 6 months of experience in solar or electrical field

• Eager to learn and grow in solar industry

• Responsible and proactive in handling tasks
