Lead Program Manager - Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Program Leadership:

• Drive end-to-end program execution for BESS projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Strategic Planning & Governance:

• Define program objectives, KPIs, and governance frameworks.
• Align program deliverables with organizational strategy and customer requirements.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, construction) and external stakeholders (utilities, EPC contractors, regulators).
• Manage client relationships and ensure transparent communication.

Technical Oversight:

• Provide guidance on BESS technologies, grid integration, and performance optimization.
• Review technical specifications, design documents, and commissioning plans.

Financial Management:

• Develop and monitor program budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
• Ensure profitability and timely delivery within financial constraints.

Risk & Issue Management:

• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Resolve escalated issues promptly to maintain project timelines.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor and lead cross-functional teams.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale energy projects, preferably in BESS or renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of grid integration, energy storage technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
