Legal Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Analyst with expertise in U.S. law to review, analyze, and correct legal documents, contracts, and policies. The ideal candidate will identify potential legal risks, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and suggest modifications that protect and advance the company’s business interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, NDAs, MoUs, policies, and compliance documents.
• Identify clauses, terms, or language that may expose the company to risk or liability.
• Recommend edits, corrections, or alternative legal language aligned with U.S. corporate and contract law to protect company interests.
• Ensure all documents comply with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Work closely with internal departments (finance, HR, operations, procurement, etc.) to understand the business context and ensure alignment between legal and business objectives.
• Draft or revise standard legal templates and contract clauses for future use.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. legal developments, particularly those affecting commercial and corporate agreements.
• Support internal audits and assist in compliance or regulatory reviews as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM/JD or equivalent).
• 6 Months Experience in contract review, legal document analysis, or corporate law (U.S. jurisdiction preferred).
• Strong understanding of U.S. contract law, corporate compliance, and legal terminology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to draft, edit, and redline documents clearly and accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex legal issues in simple business language.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with document management or contract lifecycle tools is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with U.S. legal frameworks such as UCC, FTC, GDPR (for cross-border issues).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple document reviews under tight deadlines.
