Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and liaise with various government departments, electricity boards and regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals, permits and renewals.

- Manage documentation and compliance processes related to electrical installations, licenses and statutory approvals.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government policies, regulations and procedures relevant to the company’s operations.

- Handle correspondence and communication with government officials and agencies.

- Ensure all electrical work and projects are carried out in compliance with local and national regulations.

- Prepare reports, maintain records and update management on project status and liaisoning activities.

Support internal teams in fulfilling all legal and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications Skills:*

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering or related field).

Valid Electrical License (mandatory).

1–2 years of experience in liaisoning or coordination with government departments, preferably in the electrical or infrastructure sector.

Strong understanding of government policies, procedures and approval processes.

Proficient in MS Office and documentation management.

Ability to travel locally as required.
