Manager, Global Procurement Solution

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for defining category management activities, split between On-shore and off-shore team responsibilities, procurement savings generation, tracking implementation of contracts and supplier performance
  • Direct categories management including Ingredients like Milk, Cheese and Meat and packaging materials and all inputs going into Food Products including Starch, Sugar, agricultural products, etc.
  • Responsible for talent management across the function – Hire, Run, Develop and Retain the team
  • Develops and implements process strategies, service design, and benchmarking standards.
  • Accountable for ‘change the business’ activities such as transformation, experience enhancement, digitization, and decision intelligence.
  • Accountable for meeting Service Management and regional and global relationships with procurement and plants based teams
  • Accountable for governance and compliance working in collaboration with KHMS, internal audit and controls, and stakeholder /supplier escalation management.
  • Responsible for GCC expansion through business development, and execution of the business cases.

Qualifications
10+ years in any global direct category management role within Procurement

5+ years leading cross-functional global procurement teams

Knowledge in any of the categories mentioned is a plus, experience running global categories is a requirement

Leadership: proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including Zone Partners and SMEs

Strategic thinking: Agility to align processes with the broader business strategy and adapt to evolving business needs.

Process management: expertise in process standardization, optimization, and alignment with organizational skills

Governance: knowledge of compliance, KPI development, and governance frameworks

Continuous improvement: strong focus on driving efficiency, innovation, and value delivery

Education: Degree in business, or finance

Proficient and broad technology skills including SAP HANA, Ariba, Coupa or other procurement software and tools preferred
