Mathematics Teacher

planning & delivering engaging math lessons (from basic to advanced concepts), creating & grading assignments/tests, fostering critical thinking, managing a positive classroom, providing extra support, using technology, collaborating with staff, and communicating with parents to ensure student success in math and preparation for exams, requiring strong math knowledge and communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction: Develop and present clear, effective math lessons using various methods (lectures, discussions, tech, real-world examples).
• Curriculum: Implement curriculum standards, create lesson plans, source materials, and prepare students for standardized tests.
• Assessment: Assign homework, grade papers, quizzes, and tests, and document student progress.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment.
• Student Support: Offer individualized help, remedial programs, and extra support for struggling students.
• Collaboration: Work with colleagues, parents, and administrators on curriculum, student issues, and school-wide initiatives.
• Professional Development: Attend meetings, workshops, and training to stay updated on teaching methods. 

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or Mathematics, with relevant licensing/certification.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of mathematical concepts (arithmetic, algebra, calculus, etc.).
• Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, instructional, and organizational skills.
• Attributes: Patience, enthusiasm for math, ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
